Jonathan D. Carroll, M.A. is an ADD/ADHD Coach and Executive Functioning Coach as well as a Special Education Advocate and Educational Advisor. He has several years of experience helping children, adolescents and adults meet personal, professional and educational goals. As an adult managing his own ADHD, Jonathan Carroll helps clients all over the world achieve success through a variety of effective strategies and techniques.
Jonathan Carroll received a B.A. in Communication from DePaul University in Chicago and a M.A. in Learning Disabilities with additional studies in Social/Emotional Disorders from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. His graduate thesis examined ADD/ADHD and the use of medication along with alternative intervention strategies.
Jonathan Carroll founded and manages Carroll Educational Group (www.carrolleducationalgroup.com) and IEP Experts (www.iepexperts.com). He is a member of the ACO (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Coaches’ Organization), CEC(Council for Exceptional Children), CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), ADDA (Attention Deficit Disorder Association), LDA (Learning Disabilities Association), COPAA (Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates) and IPA (Illinois Psychological Association).
Jonathan Carroll is located in the Chicagoland area with two offices in Northfield and Downtown Chicago. The Northfield office serves communities on the North Shore and Northern Suburbs of Chicago including Northbrook, Glenview, Highland Park, Glencoe, Kenilworth, Wilmette, Winnetka, Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, Skokie, Evanston, Deerfield, Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, Lincolnshire, Bannockburn, Riverwoods, Vernon Hills, Libertyville, Mount Prospect, Park Ridge, Niles and Morton Grove. In his downtown office, it serves clients from Lincoln Park, Lake View, Wrigleyville, Bucktown, Andersonville, The Gold Coast, Old Town, Hyde Park and Downtown. He also works with clients from other Chicago suburban areas including Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, Elmhurst, Oakbrook, Oakbrook Terrace, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Wheaton and Schaumburg.
Jonathan Carroll helps clients all over the United States and Internationally. In addition to face-to-face ADD/ADHD and Executive Functioning Coaching sessions, Jonathan also works remotely with clients over FaceTime, Skype and GTalk Video services. He coaches clients from all over the United States including Illinois, New York, New Jersey, California, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Texas and Arizona. Internationally, he’s works with clients from places including Canada, Israel, Australia, Ireland, Portugal and England.
Jonathan Carroll is considered an expert in the field of education. In addition to helping individuals and families, he is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars highlighting current trends in education. He is a featured guest on ABC, FOX and NBC newscasts in Chicago discussing various topics on education.
Jonathan Carroll lives with his family in Northbrook, Illinois. In addition to the importance of spending quality time with his family, his interests include reading, writing, technology and sports.
